About the position

We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Trainee for our sales department within local oil trading and trading. With us, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced brokers, work in an international market, and build valuable expertise in trading and market analysis.

Your tasks

• Participate in daily follow-up with customers and trading partners
• Support brokers in oil and currency transactions
• Perform market analyses and monitor price developments
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies
• Handle documentation and reporting in trading systems

We are looking for someone who

• Has education in economics, finance, international trade, or equivalent (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Has great interest in commodity and currency markets
• Thrives in a hectic environment and keeps a cool head under pressure
• Is proactive, analytical, and precise
• Masters Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
